Phase 3 Communications announced today that they have invested in a new bio hybrid printer to handle wide format printing needs.
GREENSBORO, NC, February 14, 2009 /Direct Marketing PR News/ -- Phase 3 Communications announced today that they have invested in a new bio hybrid printer to handle wide format printing needs. The Fuji Mutoh ValueJet 1608 they have installed will handle banner and rigid substrate printing needs in an environmentally friendly way.
The flatbed printer uses MUBIO INK that is composed of 80% plant-derived substances and contains no harmful VOCs (volatile organic compounds). For every pound of vegetable oil used to replace petroleum, carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is reduced by 2.77 pounds.* The MUBIO inks are the only inks to be recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in their Design for Environment program.
The hybrid printer offers the ultimate in flexibility and can print directly to our eco-friendly FSC certified papers and to many other environmentally friendly materials such as:
