Originally from Utah, Mrs. Alfaro brings 10 years of experience and expertise in strategic planning, risk and safety management, Baldrige and process management systems and insurance to her role as marketing manager. Her responsibilities include recruiting, assisting in the development of safety plans and programs, participating on the Total Quality Management Committee, managing corporate events, and providing marketing services. She attributes her success to perseverance, a positive attitude, her goal-oriented nature, her ability to face challenges and her passion for her profession.
Mrs. Alfaro received her Bachelor's Degree in Communicative Disorders, with a minor in Special Education from San Francisco State University in 2003 and her Associate of Science in Music from Snow College in 1997 where she was on the Dean's List and graduated Cum Laude. She is a Certified Internal Baldrige Assessor and a Certified Notary Public in the State of California. She is a Certified Breath Alcohol Technician, is certified in CPR and First Aid, and holds drug collection certification from both the Department of Transportation and MedTox,. Mrs. Alfaro received the Scholarship Award from the Engineering & Utility Contractors Association, the Lucky Brand Scholarship from the Building Bridges Camp, the KTVU Scholarship from Dominican University, and the Academic, Music and Lucy Phillips Scholarships from Snow College.
Her professional affiliations include: Total Quality Management Committee, O.C. Jones & Sons, Inc.; Member, California Council for Excellence; Scholarship Committee, Engineering & Utility Contractors Association; National Association of Professional Women; National Notary Association; Former Leader, Safety Committee; Former Leader, Marketing Committee; Former Leader, Baldrige Committee; and, Former Member, 401(k) Committee.
Mrs. Alfaro's volunteer and leadership experience includes serving as Primary Children Group Leader; Activities Committee Chairwoman; Volunteer, Technology Resource Center of Marin; Co-Chairwoman, LDS Single Adults Activity Group, Marin County, San Francisco; Music Leader, Teacher, Kearns Special Needs Mutual; and Church Volunteer, Taejon, Korea.
