Ms. Röner-Hansen has 20 years of professional experience. Her areas of expertise include international sales, business development, product promotion, departmental organization, strategic planning, senior management training, and complex negotiations. As the vice president for international sales, Ms. Röner-Hansen is in charge of supervising operations, sales and marketing for four main global distribution areas—the Far East/Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East—budgeting and forecasting, preparing policies and procedures, identifying products to cater to a specific geographical area, and assisting upper management with strategizing pricing and distribution. Prior to taking on her current position in 2006, Ms. Röner-Hansen served Parlux as the director of worldwide sales administration. She also previously worked as manager of international customer service for Dole Packaged Foods, and as international and domestic credit specialist for Litton Guidance, a manufacturer of aviation guidance parts for the defense, civil and commercial industries. Additionally, she served as adjunct instructor for the U.S. Department of Defense and the former Panama Canal Commission.
A product of Nova Southeastern University, Ms. Röner-Hansen received her Bachelor of Science in Management. Fluent in English and Spanish, she is a Certified Public Translator of English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English through the Republic of Panama. Ms. Röner-Hansen has been affiliated with Litton Guidance & Control Systems-Management Club, Litton Asian-Pacific Employee Association, the St. Louis Association of Credit Managers, the Export Chemical Credit Association, and Jaycees International/Panama. In her spare time, she volunteers with the Samaritan's Purse, the Sheridan House Family Ministry, Calvary Chapel and Compassion International. She aspires to become more involved in the travel retail business in the future.
